Projected Functionality on Admin Panel
We will develop a Real Estate Website that supports 5 different languages. For doing so we will gather the details of a property at control panel from site administrator at the time of adding a property, he would have to provide us with the required details of a property in all Five languages. For example if administrator is adding a new property into the site he would provide us the Name, Address, Contact Information, Property Images, Dimensions and Detailed Description of the property like (how many floors, bedrooms, Kitchen, Bathrooms etc.). So now the Name, Address and Contact Information may remain constant in all Languages but the description will need to be provided in different languages. Once we will get these details we will be able to show this property on front end. The above procedure was for the dynamically added contents into the site but for those ones which a are not going to change every day you have to provide us with all five versions. For example the word “Property” may have different versions for each language. This will help us to change the Text according to the language selected. Now lets discuss each option available on the admin panel in brief.

1. Property Management: We will allow administrator to add, edit and delete properties at admin panel we will be showing the properties available here at the front end. Admin will have the option to activate or inactivate a particular or all properties at this panel. The same procedure will allow him to choose the featured property. This property will be shown at the space that you have described in your document for featured property. This property will be among those that admin has added from admin panel he will be able to change the featured property at any point of time. We may provide you with Google or Yahoo maps utility that will help users at front end to find out a particular property in map.

Administrator will be able to quick search for a particular property at this panel so when the number of properties increases he will be able to find out a particular property easily. Moreover he will be able to sort out the properties, this will help him to find out a property when he is not sure about the name but he remembers the date he added it. He will have the option to list only active or only inactive properties also. All these functionality is what is coming in our mind right now, you may obviously suggest us with some good ideas of yours also.

2. Content Management: Every site has some static page with it these pages are not changed dynamically but site administrator may wish the change the contents of those pages of modify them a little bit. This would be easily done through this panel you will be able to edit the contents for these pages. Here again you have to provide all five versions of the same page 3. Email Management: Our site will require to send mails to user of our site on many occasions these mail will required to be written in all five languages so that a user will receive the mail in his preffered language. 4. User Management: Administrator will be able to view the details of the users registered with us and add, edit or delete from them. These user will be registered from front end the registered user will have the benefit maintaining their view history. For example if a registered user logs in and browses through the properties of the site and then he closes the browser and after one week he comes again to our site he will be able see those properties easily that he had viewed last time. They will also be able to save a particular property into their account this will work like a wish list. 5. Admin Mangement: There will only one super administrator who will have the rights to create further administrators. These created administrators will work as moderators but wont be able to create further administrators. This will help super admin when he want to share the work load with one or more moderators. Front end of the site will work as you have suggested.

The design for the first page will be same as you have suggested. The second page's layout will also be as per your wish. User will be able to browse all the properties or they can search for a particular keyword in properties. We will user fulltext search in properties that will ensure us that the search is fast enough. After clicking on a particular properties they will be shown the short deatils of the property i.e. The Name, Address, Short Descriptions and thumbnails of the property which may be enlarge after clicking on them. User may further go for the detailed description of that property and view the propery on map. If the user currently browsing the properties is logged in we maintain his history in database. So that if he wants, he can come again on the same property in future. Even those users who are not logged in will be able to see their browsing history but this will be for a limited number of properties. And non logged in user will also not be able to save the property into there wish list. User will be able to contact the site administrator through the Contact us form these contact us request will be sent to site administrators via mail. In addition to these, user will also see the links to the content pages added to our site the link will be placed according our site design. Their examples are 'About Us' and 'Terms and Conditions' page.
